New service will allow users to book a cab for up to 12 hours

US-based ride-sharing company Uber has launched a new service in India called UberHIRE, which will allow users to book a cab for up to 12 hours, reports The Economic Times. The service, currently available in eight major cities in the country, will let rider make multiple stops in a time-based model within the city. Uber plans to expand the service to other cities later.
