Volkswagen (VW) partners with Mobileye to develop navigation for self-driving cars
German automaker to equip its vehicles with Mobileye’s REM technology
Volkswagen (VW) has signed an agreement with Mobileye to develop what it calls “super navigation data” for autonomous driving, the German automaker said in a press release on Monday (13 February). Under the agreement, VW will equip its vehicles with Mobileye’s camera-based map and localization technology called Road Experience Management (REM) beginning 2018.
