Sales of alternative powertrain vehicles in South Korea gain 42.2% y/y in January
Kia accounted for 42.4% or 1,795 units of the total alternative powertrain vehicles sales
Sales of alternative powertrain vehicles, including electric vehicles (EVs), hybrid electric vehicles (HEVs), plug-in hybrid electric vehicles (PHEVs), and fuel-cell electric vehicles (FCEVs), in South Korea grew by 42.2% year on year (y/y) to 4,237 units during January, according to a report by the Yonhap News Agency.
