Hot-stamped steel boasts a tensile strength of approximately 1,470 megapascals

Japanese steelmaker Kobe Steel has started production of hot stamping steel at its facility in Kakogawa, Hyogo Prefecture (Japan) to meet rising demand from automakers for lighter and stronger components, reports Nikkei Asian Review.
