Vehicle production in South Korea declines 14.2% y/y in January
Exports down 10.1% y/y
South Korean automakers reported a 14.2% year-on-year (y/y) decline in total output to 298,041 units in January, according to data released by the Ministry of Trade, Industry, and Energy, as reported by Yonhap News Agency. Meanwhile, vehicle exports from the country declined 10.1% y/y to 179,395 units last month.
