Omnitracs, Peloton Technology team up for platoon technology
Peloton claims platooning reduces fuel consumption by 4.5% for first truck and 10% for second truck
US-based fleet management service provider Omnitraces has partnered with automated vehicle start-up Peloton Technology to provide platooning technology that will allow Omnitraces’s customers to run small partly-automated truck convoys, Reuters reported on 16 February.
