Mobileye equips 4,500 for-hire vehicles in New York with collision avoidance technology
Company’s system will also include a technology by Pointer Telocation that monitors driver’s driving behavior
Mobileye has completed installation of collision avoidance technology across 4,500 for-hire vehicles in New York City (United States), including those that are available through app such as Uber and Lyft, the Israel-based advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS) supplier said in a press release on Friday (17 February). The company partnered with Atlas Financial Holdings, which specializes in passenger transportation insurance, for this initiative.
