Last month company announced plans to expand service to 100 new US cities this year

Lyft has expanded services to 54 new cities in the United States this month, the US-based ride-hailing service provider said in a blog post. The latest expansion mainly covers cities in the Midwest, with few on the East Coast and Southern states. In January, Lyft launched its ride-hailing services in 40 new cities in the United States. Thus in the first two months of the year, Lyft has added 94 new cities in the United States where it operates.
