Ford partners with Vodafone to bring connectivity in vehicles in Europe

Automaker to launch 4G LTE in France, Germany, Italy, Spain and the United Kingdom, before rolling to other European countries

Ford has partnered with Vodafone to offer 4G LTE connectivity in its vehicles sold in Europe, according to a press release by Ford of Europe on 27 February. The automaker will provide high-speed connectivity in its vehicles via the new FordPass Connect built-in modem and Wi-Fi hotspot capability. Using an external aerial, the Wi-Fi hotspot will enable up to 10 devices to connect to the network.
