Rival firm UCAR raises USD670 million in new round of funding

Didi Chuxing, a ride-hailing service provider in China, is considering raising up to USD3 billion in fresh capital, Bloomberg reported on Thursday (2 March) citing people familiar with the development. The company has reportedly held talks with investors for the same. However, investors appear to be divided over Didi Chuxing's capital requirement given the company raised USD7.3 billion in funding last year, the report said.
