Ford sees strong growth in FordPass; to expand app to other models
App was downloaded half a million times in first 10 months of launch
Ford has seen strong consumer response for its FordPass smartphone app since its launch 10 month ago, according to Automotive News. Although the US automaker has launched FordPass app in three models—2017 Escape, Fusion and F-150 —the app has been downloaded half a million times to date, including 100,000 times by non-Ford owners. “One year in we're very optimistic,” Elena Ford, vice-president, global dealer and consumer experience told Automotive News.
