Didi Chuxing opens DiDi Labs in US for AI-based security and intelligent driving technologies
DiDi Lab will be led by Dr. Fengmin Gong, vice-president of DiDi Research Institute
Chinese ride-sharing company Didi Chuxing has opened a research and development (R&D) center called DiDi Labs in Mountain View, California (the United States), according to a press release. The R&D center will focus on artificial intelligence (AI)-based security and intelligence driving technologies. DiDi Labs will be led by Dr. Fengmin Gong, vice-president of DiDi Research Institute. The center has already hired data scientists and researchers, who will work in areas of cloud-based security, deep learning, human-machine interaction, computer vision and imaging, as well as intelligent driving technologies.
