US automaker to offer improved Sync 3 in other popular models

Ford is introducing an improved version of its Sync 3 infotainment system on the 2017 Ford Mustang performance car in China. The new system will be able to recognize handwritten Chinese character inputted through swipe of the finger, the automaker said in a press release on 9 March. The upgraded Sync 3 can also recognize voice commands in Mandarin Chinese. This is expected to offer seamless connectivity experience, varying from selecting music to searching for destination.
