Valeo acquires 3D image processing software specialist gestigon
Acquired company develops body and gesture recognition technology
Valeo has acquired German start-up gestigon that specializes in developing 3D image processing software for vehicle cabin, the company said in a press release on 13 March. The acquired company develops body and gesture recognition technology. The acquisition is expected to help the French supplier develop solutions in the area of cabin comfort and driving assistance, especially in the realm interior cameras and image processing.
