Toyota to invest USD295 million in UK plant
Company’s invests in Brazilian plants to increase local content in cars
Toyota will invest GBP240 million (USD295.3 million) in its Toyota Manufacturing UK (TMUK) manufacturing plant in Burnaston, Derbyshire (United Kingdom), the Japanese automaker said in a press release on 16 March. The company will invest in new equipment, technologies and systems to prepare the plant for production of vehicles based on its Toyota New Global Architecture (TNGA) platform.
