Renesas says Intersil acquisition to drive growth in autonomous car segment
Plans to launch more powerful, energy-efficient chips for autonomous driving
Japanese automotive chipmaker Renesas expects the acquisition of Intersil to help drive its growth in the autonomous vehicle segment, the company’s CEO Bunsei Kure, who took over the role in June last year, told Automotive News in an interview.
