Arconic pulls out request for USD259 million US DOE loan

Company was approved of conditional commitment for loan two years ago

Arconic, a spinoff from Alcoa, has dropped its request for a USD259-million loan from the US Department of Energy (DOE), Reuters reported on 17 March. “After thorough review, we decided not to proceed with the ATVM loan as it no longer fit the needs of the company,” the company was quoted as saying on Friday.
