Automaker’s Ingolstadt plant produces 1,400 units of A4 and A5 daily

Audi has decided to halt production of the A4 and A5 models at its Ingolstadt plant until Thursday (30 March) due to parts shortage following a fire at one of its suppliers that makes front wall cladding for these models, Reuters reported on 27 March citing German news agency Deutsche Presse-Agentur. The German carmaker produces 1,400 units of A4 and A5 per day at the Ingolstadt plant. As on 31 March 2016, the plant had 43,952 employs.
