Waymo targets Otto’s second co-founder in lawsuit with Uber
Uber seeks arbitration to settle the lawsuit
In late February this year, Waymo filed a lawsuit against two of its former employees, who formed a self-driving truck start-up Otto, which was acquired by Uber within six months of its establishment. While the lawsuit mainly alleged Anthony Levandowosky of stealing highly confidential data and design files, before leaving, court records show that Waymo accused Otto’s second co-founder Lior Ron of trying to recruit Waymo employees to Otto.
