Joint efforts to focus around shared urban mobility

Bosch and Daimler are jointly developing systems for fully automated (SAE-Level 4) and driverless (SAE-Level 5) vehicles, according to a Bosch press release. The companies have agreed to set up a development alliance with an aim to bring software and algorithms of such autonomous driving systems into production by the start of the next decade. The core idea behind the project is that the vehicle will come to the driver, not the other way around.
