Part of a larger plan to build infrastructure for green energy use that includes increased use of EVs

South Korea aims to have 1,450 electric vehicle (EV) charging stations by the end of this year, The Korea Herald reported on 30 March. In Jan-Mar 2017, the country set up 100 supercharging stations for EVs, according to data from South Korea’s ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy.
