PSA to introduce autonomous driving feature on DS brand vehicle – report
French automaker to offer autonomous driving feature on Peugeot and Citroen vehicles as well following launch on DS 7 crossover
The PSA Group will debut its new self-driving technology on DS brand of vehicles, Automotive News Europe (ANE) reported on 9 April. Starting next year, the new DS 7 Crossback crossover will feature some semi-autonomous driving systems such as self-parking, which the French automaker calls ‘Park Pilot’, and a system monitoring the vehicle position on the road called ‘Connected Pilot’. PSA plans to offer these features on Peugeot and Citroen soon after they are launched on DS 7, a company’s spokesperson confirmed to ANE.
