Bosch opens new automotive electronics plant in China
German supplier to invest USD106 million in the new facility by 2019
Bosch has opened a new automotive electronics plant in Changzhou, Jiangsu province (China), the German supplier said in a press release today (13 April). The 34,000 square meter plant, located in the Wujin Economic Development Zone in Changzhou, will produce electronics components for connected and automated driving for the Chinese market. These include cameras and radar sensors for driver assistance systems, electronic control units (ECUs) for automotive steering systems, and central gateways for connected vehicles.
