US DOT to award up to USD60 million for advanced transportation technologies
DOT to share a maximum of 50% of project cost
The United States Department of Transportation’s (DOT) Federal Highway Administration (FHWA) will award up to USD60 million to projects to develop model deployment sites for large scale installation and operations of advanced transportation technologies to improve safety efficiency, system performance and infrastructure return on investment, grants.gov reported last week. FHWA will bear a maximum of 50% of the project cost. The last date for applying for the grant is 12 June.
