Plant expected to become operational in 2019

South Korean automaker Kia is likely to sign a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the Andhra Pradesh state government in India later this month to set up a manufacturing plant, reports Reuters. To this end, the state government has issued orders for acquisition of 600 acres of land in Penukonda, in Anantpur district, according to the report.
