Luminar unveils new Lidar for self-driving cars
Start-up plans to produce and ship 10,000 Lidar systems by the end of this year
US-based start-up Luminar has unveiled a Lidar for self-driving cars, according to media reports last week. The company claims to have built its Lidar from scratch implying developing its all key components including lasers, receivers, chips and packaging in-house.
