Visteon to supply SmartCore cockpit domain controller for Dongfeng’s new light vehicle platform
This is the company’s first supply contract for SmartCore cockpit domain controller in China
Visteon has secured contract to supply SmartCore cockpit domain controller for a new light vehicle platform of Dongfeng Motor, the US-based supplier said in a press release on 21 April. The company will supply its SmartCore domain controller to a top variant of a vehicle by Dongfeng Motor. Visteon will also supply a reconfigurable instrument cluster and infotainment system for other variants of the vehicle. The Chinese automaker will begin production of the vehicle from beginning next year.
