Amazon builds team for self-driving technology―report
Company reportedly has no plans to build self-driving cars as of now
US-based e-Commerce company Amazon has quietly built a team that is working on autonomous driving technology, The Wall Street Journal (WSJ) reported on 24 April, citing people familiar with the development. However, the company, as of now, does not plan to build self-driving cars, according to the people. Instead, the team, comprising of a dozen of employees, acts as an in-house think tank to figure out how to leverage autonomous vehicles.
