Waymo starts public self-driving car test in Arizona, plans to add 500 cars in test fleet
Alphabet’s company has been testing self-driving cars for past eight years
Waymo, the self-driving car company of Alphabet, has announced the next phase of testing for its self-driving cars, according to TechCrunch . The company is now offering residents in Phoenix area in Arizona (United States) access to ride in its self-driving test fleet. Waymo has been reportedly running limited testing since February this year. The company started accepting applications for an early rider program on 25 April.
