Nissan joins Mobileye’s initiative to create precision maps for self-driving cars
Third automaker after BMW and Volkswagen to allow its vehicles to be equipped with Mobileye’s REM technology
Nissan is the latest automaker to allow Mobileye to use its driving data to develop highly digitized (HD) map for autonomous driving, the Israel-based chipmaker said in a press release on 25 April. The two companies have entered an agreement that will allow Mobileye to equip Nissan vehicles with its Road Experience Management (REM) data generation technology.
