Mitsubishi Electric to pay CAD13.4 million fine for infringement of Canadian Competition Act
Says fine will not impact financial forecast for the fiscal year ending March 2017
Mitsubishi Electric has been fined CAD13.4 million (USD10 million) by Ontario's Superior Court of Justice after the Japanese auto parts supplier pleaded guilty to three counts of rigging bids, according to a company press release yesterday (26 April).
