Cinemo, Humax unveil in-car multimedia platform
Companies collaborating on IVI head unit for past two years
Cinemo has announced new projects with South Korea-based in-vehicle infotainment (IVI) supplier Humax Automotive for development of audio/video, navigation head unit and accessories, the Germany-based company said in a press release on 25 April. Under the agreement, Cinemo will deliver its multimedia platform, including playback, media management and connectivity, for integration into a new front seat entertainment system by Humax. The South Korean company will supply the new front seat entertainment system to a local Chinese automaker.
