Makes investment in response to rising trend toward lightweight construction in automotive industry

German specialty chemical company LANXESS plans to invest approximately EUR25 million (USD27 million) to further strengthen its integrated production complex for polyamide and precursors for plastics in Antwerp, Belgium, according to a company press release earlier this week (25 April).
