Group to collaborate with the ‘Alliance Automotive Working Group’ to set security standards for connected cars

HDBaseT Alliance has joined forces with Check Point, Argus Cyber Security and Valens to establish Cyber Security Working Group (CSWG), which will work toward setting security standards for connected cars, HDBaseT Alliance said in a press release last week. Check Point, the Israel-based cyber security company that pioneered firewall, will lead the CSWG. Argus Cyber Security will also be a major contributor for the working group. Valens, which developed HDBaseT and is founder of HDBaseT Alliance, also plans to play vital role in this working group.
