NXP reports Q1 net income of USD1.3 billion amid stable revenue
Automotive business sales up 13% y/y
NXP Semiconductors has reported net income of USD1.3 billion in the first quarter ended 2 April 2017 against net loss of USD398 million during the same period a year earlier, the Netherlands-based supplier said in a press release. The company recorded an operating income of USD1.7 billion compared to an operating loss of USD471 million in first quarter 2016. NXP reported a turnaround in profit despite total revenue declining marginally to USD2.2 billion.
