BMW to expand annual production capacity to 3 million units by 2020 – report
German carmaker plans to launch as many as 40 new or revamped models by the end of next year
BMW plans to raise its global production capacity to 3 million units by 2020 from 2.4 million currently as its aims to regain its position as the leading premium carmaker, German newspaper Handelsblatt reported on 9 May citing company sources familiar with the plans. According to the report, BMW plans to introduce as many as 40 new or revamped models by the end of next year.
