FCA to recall more than 1.25 million pickups to address software glitch
Recall will begin next month
Fiat Chrysler Automobiles (FCA) will recall more than 1.25 million pickup trucks globally to fix a software glitch that could impact functioning of side airbags and seatbelts, Reuters reported on 12 May. The recalls mainly affects 1.02 million units of model year (MY) 2013-2016 Ram 1500 and 2500 pickups and MY 2014-2016 Ram 3500 pickups in the United States. Outside the United States, the automaker will recall 216,007 vehicles in Canada, 21,668 units in Mexico, and 21,530 units outside North America.
