Lyft, Waymo sign collaboration agreement for autonomous vehicle technology

Alphabet’s Waymo, formerly Google Self-Driving Car Project, has signed an agreement with ride-sharing company Lyft to collaborate on bringing self-driving technology into the mainstream through pilot project and product development efforts, The New York Times reported on 14 May citing two people familiar with the development.
