Impact on customers not foreseen as 90% of production lines are operational

German auto component maker Schaeffler’s plant in Eltmann, Bavaria (Germany) was hit by an explosion on Monday, reports Reuters. The explosion took place in the salt filtration device and according to the report, nearly 23 people were injured.
