Group to develop a battery controller using the Smart Power (BCD) technology and automotive microcontrollers

Semiconductor giant STMicroelectronics is collaborating with China-based IMECAS, a state-owned research & development institute, and EPOCH, a technology company, to develop a battery-management system for new energy vehicles (NEV), the company announced in a press release on 15 May.
