Continental, NTT DOCOMO to jointly develop 5G technology solutions for connected cars
Companies already demonstrating prototype 5G application at industry events in Japan
Continental is collaborating with Japanese telecommunications company NTT DOCOMO, Inc. to conduct joint research and development (R&D) work to harness 5G connectivity for vehicle communications including infotainment and vehicle-to-everything (V2X) systems, said a Continental press release on 24 May.
