Canada to formulate national ZEV strategy by 2018
Strategy to help meet country’s 2030 greenhouse gas emissions reduction target
The Canadian government is working with provincial and territorial partners, industry and stakeholders towards formulating a new national strategy to increase the number of zero-emission vehicles (ZEV) on Canadian roads by 2018, the government announced in a press release on 26 May. The new strategy will cover battery electric, plug-in hybrid, and hydrogen fuel cell vehicles.
