Toyota’s CSRC launches ‘CSRC Next’ to study autonomous and connected vehicle technologies
Japanese automaker launched CSRC in 2011
Toyota’s Collaborative Safety Research Center (CSRC) has launched the next phase of its research mission called ‘CSRC Next’, the Japanese automaker said in a press release on 31 May. Under ‘CSRC Next’, the center will focus on its research efforts in the areas of autonomous and connected vehicle technologies over the next decade. The Japanese automaker has earmarked investment of USD35 million under CSRC Next through 2021.
