XL Hybrids receives orders for plug-in hybrid upfit on Ford F-150 pickup trucks
Technology to be installed in MY 2017 and MY 2018 Ford F-150 pickups
XL Hybrids has received orders from City of Long Beach, California; Southern California Edison (SCE); and Tampa Electric (TECO) for its XLP plug-in hybrid electric vehicle (PHEV) upfit solution for Ford F-150 pickup trucks, the company announced in a press release on 5 June.
