Nissan to make AEB standard on 1 million model year 2018 vehicles in US
AEB will be standard on seven of Nissan’s most popular models
Nissan has decided to make automatic emergency braking (AEB) standard on around 1 million vehicles sold in the United States for model year 2018, the Japanese automaker said in a press release on 8 June. The company will offer the active safety technology as standard on seven popular models including best-selling Rogue, Altima and Murano. Apart from these three models, Nissan will equip its all-electric car Leaf, Maxima sedan, and Pathfinder SUV with AEB technology. The safety technology will also feature in select variants of Nissan Sentra sedans (except manual transmission-equipped and all NISMO versions) sold in the United States.
