Vietnamese government mulls excise tax relief for auto parts makers
Proposal part of a report on automotive industry development strategy
Vietnam’s Ministry of Industry and Trade (MOIT) has proposed to offer excise duty relief to automotive component manufacturers in the country in a report on automotive industry development strategy, the Vietnam Economic Times reported on 12 June. The proposal to provide excise duty relief to local suppliers , if approved, would be one of the biggest incentives offered to date for development of auto parts suppliers in Vietnam.
