Michelin to acquire US-based commercial fleet telematics provider NexTraq
NexTraq provides GPS fleet management solutions for fleets of Class 3-5 trucks
Michelin has reached an agreement with US-based Fleetcor Technologies to acquire its subsidiary NexTraq in an all-cash transaction, the French tire-maker said in a press release on 14 June. NexTraq specializes in commercial fleet telematics and provides GPS fleet management solutions for fleets of Class 3-5 trucks, ranging from 2 to 50 vehicles. The company’s fleet management solutions improve driver safety and fuel management and result in better fleet productivity.
