Danish firm will use the fund to further expand business in Europe

Europcar Group has invested EUR10 million (USD11.2 million) to pick 20% stake in peer-to-peer car sharing company SnappCar, the French car rental company said in a press release last week. The company made the strategic investment in the Dutch start-up through Lab, its entity dedicated to innovation. With the investment, Europcar joins the existing shareholders of SnappCar, such as AutoBinck Group and the Danish Studio Founders.
