Travis Kalanick resigns as Uber CEO – report
Uber has been in news due to wrong reasons which had mounted pressure on Kalanick to step down
Travis Kalanick has stepped down as CEO of Uber, the US-based ride sharing company he co-founded eight years ago, says a report by The New York Times today (21 June). Kalanick has taken leave of absence from Uber earlier this month due to personal reason. “I love Uber more than anything in the world and at this difficult moment in my personal life I have accepted the investors request to step aside so that Uber can go back to building rather than be distracted with another fight,” Kalanick said in a statement.
