Daimler starts construction at new Mercedes-Benz car plant in Russia
Plan is scheduled to begin operations in 2019
Daimler has started construction of a new passenger car plant in Esipovo, near Moscow (Russia), the German automaker said in a press release yesterday. The company held groundbreaking ceremony for its first car manufacturing plant in the country on Tuesday (20 June). The German automaker is investing EUR250 million (USD278 million) in the new plant.
